This Could Lead People to Support this Juggernaut and All Its Death and Destruction
Greetings Comrades:
Well, let me get straight to the point of this missive. I’ve been hollerin’ at the brothers here about the election and what it means but it’s so hard to get past the cult of Obama… It’s now the day after the election and I just received the new paper “The Morning After Elections: What Are You Gonna Do Now?” I started to read it didn’t even finish page 3 and I had to stop to write to you.
I’ve been feeling saddened and just lost to see how thoroughly people both here and there have got overwhelmed by Obama. And how good he was at getting people to support him irregardless of the reality he represents. Even some people who should know better…
Don’t know why it hurts me so bad but I feel life is too short and time may not be our luxury and to lose people this way… Well, it’s just a bit much. But I also know I can’t speak from my anger if I want to be part of this work to pull the blinders off of people’s eyes. But for me it’s all too familiar—the first Black and all the have faith talk. Let the majority of us rot away or are reduced to caricatures. But somehow this is worst because this has the potential to buy souls. This could lead people to support this juggernaut and all its death and destruction. And for that I’m weary.
We have much work to do. You guys will have to be real thorough because I’m leaning on you to give me the [literature] I need to change others. I will get over the hurt, but only to the degree I’m able to challenge this monster and all its representatives.

Papers Needed for Prisoners Black Cultural Workshop

Dear Revolution:
I am an avid reader of your paper. I just recently read special issue #144, “The Oppression of Black People, The Crimes of This System and the Revolution We Need.” I have instituted a Black Cultural Workshop that deals with and teaches about the oppressive history of Blacks in this country and the world over.
I would like to use Vol. #144 as a class project and in order to do so I am going to need several issue of Vol. #144, due to the class size.
I would like to thank you in advance for your understanding, patience and assistance render in this matter.

Steadfast Greetings R.C.P.,
I am a prisoner of Afrikan Descent, being held in one of the various Security Housing Units (SHU) they have within California’s prison structure. I have been amongst these conditions for two years now, in which I have been confined in these prison institutions since I was eighteen years old which I’m twenty-five years of age now. Me personally, I’m just another statistic to the prison rate of millions of other Afrikans, within this country held in prisons across this nation of Amerika.
I’m a new subscriber to your Revolution newsletter in which I’m not new to reading the crucial elements that engulfs the cause for revolution… I truly enjoy every issue that flows in here because it enables one to continue to strive and struggle against all the enmity that is seen within these walls as well as out there within the urban communities consisting of blacks, Latinos, Hispanics, etc., which they are steady held under this oppression regime they have within this country.
I recently read newsletter issue #144 which was pertaining to the oppression of black people and the atrocities they suffer from these systems of injustice. I read the entire 20 pages of the profound contribution that was rendered by *Revolution* with the voice of those RCP members to pay homage on the research of the in-depth plights that black people had to prevail through from the beginning of time here. 1619 when the first twenty Afrikans was imported from Afrika to settle in Jamestown, Virginia, which became a slave trade auction state. I know exploitation played a key role in establishing of this Amerika country that so many people gave their lives to ridden some of the atrociousness, which is still going on within the black communities today where drugs and guns plays the vital role in steering so many misguided people to become statistics to these prisons within Amerika. It was all traps the oppressive regime put within the urban communities such as drugs, guns, propaganda which led to so many people being diverted from their true aims of revolution to take part in the conspiracy which was put there for them to eradicate themselves. Them tools within the communities have been the downfall of millions, which the oppressor utilizes more oppression, by captivating them to these modern-day institutions of repression of various sort.
I know during the 1960’s thru the early 1970’s there were crucial organization such as the Black Panther Party, Black Liberation Army and so on, etc., who devoted their organization to uplift the people within the oppressed communities across this nation. They established community services known as *programs* for various kinds of aid such as free breakfast program, free shoe program, etc., all that was done to bring a profound sense of solidarity, when all other avenues were against the people of Afrikan Descent such as the police, judicial-system, and those uncovertly racist. But these organizations as well as numerous others were scrutinized by J. Edgar Hoover, who was head of the oppressive regime of the early 1900s to the late 1900s, which he utilized propaganda to mislead so many to believe they have been betrayed by the revolution they were struggling for dearly. Which a lot of the tactics of the totalitarians such as misinformation did lead to the slowly dismantling of the cause for revolution. But when one is conscious of life and able to grasp it for what its worth, then one realizes that the struggle don’t stop until all peoples are uplifted from this world of ill-will. Revolution must prevail against all odds by whatever measures it necessitates in life truly. But overall one must be willing to keep the torch lit which must be passed on to generation after generation to make it pragmatic and a practical deed to carry forth, until the restraints in humanity are annihilated for all people to live in harmony amongst themselves as well as amongst others.
Once again, I was delighted to read issue #144 which I look forward to more crucial historical facts to be divulged within your newsletter because it keeps prisoners like me on a pragmatic element on transcending my ways to see the truth be set free in which a lot of the truth sets us free as people. I extend my profound regards to all the colleagues of the R.C.P. in which I declare “keep passing on the torch.” May peace and blessings dwell within y’all lives out there. Thank you for listening to my thoughts which I practice daily in these chambers of in-depth thought.
