Answering the Call and Getting Organized to Drive Out the Fascist Trump/Pence Regime
RefuseFascism.org Holds Nationwide Mass Organizing Meetings

More than 300 people gathered in socially distanced outdoor meetings in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago and 9 other cities to organize and plan historic outpourings of nonviolent protests to begin October 3rd and continue every day after that demanding Trump/Pence Out Now! These meetings were held under the shadow of a rolling fascist coup now underway by the Trump/Pence regime, including Trump's repeated refusal to peacefully leave power if he loses and his determination to discount millions of ballots. All this filled people with a sense of urgency and responsibility to answer to the call from RefuseFascism.org to become grassroots organizers of thousands and soon millions to take to the streets and stay in the streets demanding the removal of the regime.
Central locations were chosen for daily protests in most cities and people began working together to make plans to spread the word, turn people out, and grow the protests day after day and draw forward the millions who are sickened and disgusted by everything Trump and Pence concentrate and are doing.
The meetings were made up of long-time and new activists and leaders of RefuseFascism.org, young people who have been involved in the struggle for Black lives, environmental activists, members of the Revolution Clubs, people of faith, and others from different generations and many walks of life. This kind of unity is critical at this time when attacks on all sections of people are heightened by this fascism and when the road to justice for every struggle – and the hope for a future worthy of humanity – runs through the unifying demand that the fascist Trump/Pence regime must be removed.
In Philadelphia, a large group of violence-prone, Trump-supporting, fascist Proud Boys threatened to crash the outdoor meeting of RefuseFascism.org and marched menacingly by, but those gathered refused to be intimidated or diverted and held a successful organizing meeting. The presence of fascists in the streets of Philly, and even greater numbers mobilized and assaulting people across the country in Portland, Oregon and Yorba Linda, California, only underscored the urgency and importance of the day-after-day, mass, nonviolent protests being launched by RefuseFascism.org. A battle for the future is now underway. An important step was taken in these mass meetings towards a positive resolution to this fight, towards the removal of the Trump/Pence regime and an end to its fascism. Now this needs to be built upon and taken forward by everyone who attended and by all those who are reached in the coming days and weeks so that millions are drawn forward to make the removal of the Trump/Pence regime a reality.

RefuseFascism.org is a movement of people coming from diverse perspectives, united in our recognition that the Trump/Pence Regime poses a catastrophic danger to humanity and the planet, and that it is our responsibility to drive them from power through non-violent protests that grow every day until our demand is met. This means working and organizing with all our creativity and determination to bring thousands, eventually millions of people into the streets of cities and towns, to demand:
