In this episode we bring to you an extensive interview with Raymond Lotta where he’ll go into the great accomplishments of the communist revolution in China from 1949 to 1976; the tremendous advance of the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution; and the REVERSAL of that revolution in the capitalist coup of 1976, which gave rise to the capitalist-imperialist nightmare of China today. Lotta, together with host Andy Zee, will point to how Bob Avakian has summed up this experience, along with other revolutions and broader human experience, as part of forging a new synthesis of communism to chart the path of emancipation today.
We will also bring you an excerpt of a speech from Bob Avakian where he poses sharply: “Which System, Capitalism or Communism, Is the Nightmare for Humanity?”

Finally, in light of the recent discovery of two mass graves of hundreds of indigenous children buried near forced boarding schools in Canada that were part of the genocide against Native Americans, we bring you "American Crime Case #40: Native American Boarding Schools: 'Kill the Indian, Save the Man.'” This practice—of stealing the children of Indigenous peoples and forcing them into boarding schools to be robbed of their language, culture, family bonds and more—was widespread in the United States as well. An estimated 150,000 children were forced into these schools for more than a century in this country.
