Trump’s fascist attorney general Jeff Sessions came to Chicago on October 19 to attack a consent decree requiring some fuller accountability for cops, even as the basic structure and mission of the police department remains the same: as Bob Avakian has said, “to serve and protect the system that rules over the people.” Sessions did this as part of putting forth a whole program of escalation, focused in Chicago, against the masses there. He was making a personal show of support for the pigs to be even more brutal and repressive. The Revolution Club, Refuse Fascism, and others came out to expose and oppose this fascist. Just last week, the Chicago police department exonerated a pig for killing 15-year-old Dakota Bright with a shot to the back of the head as Dakota was running away, unarmed.
