The cold-blooded murder of George Floyd, with graphic new details of the horror on TV and social media coming out daily, drives home again how for 400 years this system has enchained, exploited, oppressed, brutalized, and murdered Black people every single day of its existence. A system that now has a fascist at its head. The pig who did this was an enforcer FOR that system—a capitalist-imperialist system that exploits and oppresses people here and all over the world in horrific ways. A system that generated white supremacy with all its towering crimes and cannot live without it.

But all that is not new.

What is new is the way in which people, especially young people of all nationalities and races, have risen up against this, responding to the violent attacks of the police with bravery and purpose. People have lit up the sky with a very clear message: THIS MUST STOP! NOW! More and more people must get involved in this, standing up and fighting back.

The fearlessness of the people has struck fear into the hearts of those who rule over the people. The mobilized anger of the people makes these rulers scamper around like roaches when the light goes on in the kitchen. The rulers have NO ANSWERS. So they brutalize, arrest, shoot at, teargas, threaten, promise, slander, posture, and lie—all to try to stuff people back into “their place.”

NO! We won’t turn back. We won’t be divided.

The protests of today must be transformed into and become part of a movement for an ACTUAL REVOLUTION. A revolution that does not just reform this system, but overthrows it. A revolution not for revenge but for the emancipation of all humanity. A revolution at the soonest possible time, which we go to work preparing for NOW, even while we’re rising up for justice. The path to make this revolution has been forged by Bob Avakian, BA, the most important political thinker and leader on the planet today.

There is a way for you to be a part of this, to join with the revolution today in fighting the power and getting into BA—doing all this as part of getting ourselves and the people ready for revolution at the soonest possible time. An actual revolution is serious business. It is not easy. But it is necessary and it’s possible. To win requires leadership, strategy and organization... and YOU.
