Driving Out This Fascist Regime—Coming from Behind and Winning

When it comes to what we’re up against with this fascist Trump/Pence regime, the urgent need to drive it out, this moment, and our collective mentality and orientation in the face of that:

It’s the start of the fourth quarter of an elimination game. We are down double digits. The situation is urgent. It is dire. It is stark. All of this must be squarely and soberly confronted. Coming from behind and winning is an arduous task...

BUT IT IS DO-ABLE.

IT IS POSSIBLE.

We have to FIGHT LIKE HELL to come back and win... and we need some bounces to go our way.

BUT IT IS DO-ABLE.

IT IS POSSIBLE....

The game, and its momentum, can shift... suddenly, dramatically... seemingly out of nowhere... but unmistakably.  

Our team can start to gain confidence, strength, and momentum, in dialectical relation with that sudden shift in momentum... suddenly making plays we weren’t able to make before...

The other side can start to lose confidence and momentum... in dialectical relation with all of that... suddenly UNABLE to make plays in the same way... tightening up and making costly errors.

All of this can come together, and the dam can break.

None of this is guaranteed... And unlike in the NBA and other professional sports, there are not larger, powerful forces that will consciously and deliberately step in and aid us in our comeback...

But it IS DO-ABLE... It IS POSSIBLE...  

We must always remember that and never lose sight of it... not because it “feels good” or boosts our morale but because it’s true (although boosting our morale on a scientific basis is also important).

We must stick together... We must believe in our potential... We must strategize... We must watch “game film” of our own performance and the other team’s, identifying every possible positive to build on and learning all we can from every negative...

We must understand why we are behind and identify what we must do to catch up...

We must do everything we can to come back... and WIN.

Just imagine!...
