Take the Struggle to End Murder by Police & White Supremacy Higher, and Connect It to the Fight to Drive the Trump/Pence Regime from Power!

George Floyd. Breonna Taylor. Elijah McClain. The uprising that swept the country in the early summer — that said their names — was needed, and was righteous. This uprising was beautiful, and it was powerful!
Then Trump/Pence fascism hit back: gun-toting murderous thugs and white supremacists in cars threatening our protests, and even killing protesters like in Kenosha; new laws, cops and courts putting protest leaders in jail with million-dollar bails, and coming back with a vengeance. To the righteous rebellion, this was “counter-revolution,” and WE, the people, need to come back stronger!
This mass resistance needs to be continued, taken higher. We need to get to a world where police murder is, as Bob Avakian has said, NO MORE. This will take a revolution, an overthrow of this system. But IF Trump is able to carry things forward and complete his rolling fascist coup, this — and EVERY other struggle for social justice—will be set back. The level of repression not only against this movement, but against Black people, against immigrants, against women and LGBTQ, other oppressed peoples, will go to a level unseen in 100 years and more… and may be worse.
I have previously said that mass incarceration, police murder and the criminalization of a generation was a slow genocide that could become a fast genocide. If this regime violently—illegitimately—stays in power, and that is what Trump has openly said and is intent on doing, vote or no vote—that fast genocide may be accelerated, and horrific.
It’s just that serious.
The fight against white supremacy and police terror, along with all the other crucial battles being waged, right now has to go through the life-and-death battle to drive out this regime—NOW!, through mass nonviolent sustained protests called by Refuse Fascism.
Trump Is a Genocidal Racist:
He worked to whip up a lynch mob atmosphere against the Central Park 5 when they were railroaded, and even after they were exonerated, he continued to insist they should be in jail.
He saw “good people” among the KKKers and Nazis who marched in Charlottesville, attacking protesters and even murdering one of them, Heather Heyer.
He condemns the mostly peaceful protests against murder by police as “lawlessness.”
He went to Kenosha just days after cops there shot Jacob Blake in the back to congratulate that police department on the fine job it was doing!
He has threatened sedition and treason against protesters and his political opponents.
He dispatched paramilitary federal agents to suppress protests and unleashed fascist thugs.
This is just the very beginning, and if he stays in power, it will be far—far—worse! His Department of (In)/Justice is making policies for cops that pave the way back to the time of Jim Crow segregation, denial of basic rights and lynch mob terror—with a 21st century high-tech surveillance twist to it. And he does intend to stay in power!
The Trump/Pence regime is carrying out a rolling coup: stealing the election—casting doubt on the legitimacy of mail-in balloting, making it harder to vote for some sections like Black, Latino and Native peoples, recruiting law enforcement and former military personnel to be “poll watchers” (code for gathering white supremacist goons to intimidate voters in urban areas) and rushing to put another fascist judge on the Supreme Court as his last line of defense to keep his ass in the white house.
This IS fascism, a form of rule where the right to protest gets closed down and repression escalates—either legally by cops and courts or extra-legally by fascist storm troopers. Righteous struggles will be constrained—and repressed.
For all these reasons, if you’re somebody who hates injustice, you need to take to the streets.
On October 22, 2020, the National Day of Protest to Stop Police Brutality, and whenever else, saying the names of Breonna Taylor, George Floyd and other victims of murdering pigs.
AND you need to stay in the streets taking up the Call from Refuse Fascism to protest day after day, raising the demand: Trump/Pence Out Now! I’m especially calling on you to come out on October 24 to mass protest-assemblies called in over a dozen cities around the country.
