1. The Christian Fascists now in power are strengthening the fascist movement.
In this country, with its whole history of genocide, war, slavery, and racism, any urge to "restore past greatness" can't help but be bound together with white supremacy.
Bob Avakian quotes a former Christian fundamentalist turned liberal pastor:
"What is going to happen if we keep on telling [the children], 'Don't care about the environment, and bring on the war, because we're going to be lifted out of here....'"
