Tens of thousands of dollars are needed for the production of the event and for publicity that will reach millions of people: in major media, campus newspapers, Black newspapers, Spanish media, on radio and websites with youth audiences, hip-hop sites, Facebook, Twitter – everywhere. Travel subsidies will make it possible for young people and others from the northeast and across the country to attend. Funds are also needed to produce a high quality video of the event.

Contribute to Human Emancipation
1000 Years–$1000 for BA Everywhere

The 1000 Years–$1000 project is a challenge to make the hundreds and thousands of years suffered in the hellholes of this nation of prisons count for something that will really matter: working for a radically new world. Prisoners, ex-prisoners, families and friends are raising and donating $1 for each year lost in America's prisons. Others, with more resources, are stepping forward to match and multiply those funds. So far this summer, over $12,000 has been raised. The money goes to the BA Everywhere campaign.

Now is a critical moment for YOU to get involved: Starting now, and through November, two-thirds of the funds donated to the 1000 Years–$1000 project will go towards the tens of thousands of dollars needed to make the November 15 “Revolution and Religion: The Fight for Emancipation and the Role of Religion” Dialogue Between Cornel West and Bob Avakian have the impact it needs to. The rest of the money will go to the Prisoners Revolutionary Literature Fund, which fills the requests of prisoners for the book BAsics, from the Talks and Writings of Bob Avakian, Revolution/Revolución newspaper, and other revolutionary literature.
