You know it by now, but let’s say it anyway. This past week, with Renee Nicole Good’s murder—in combination with Trump’s outrageous international rampage—we took a giant leap into full-out fascism. An ICE thug named Jonathan Ross murdered Renee Nicole Good—a poet and a mother who set aside time and ended by giving her life just to warn fellow humans that ICE was in the neighborhood. A person who by all accounts was kind, compassionate and caring. An ordinary person… and a hero.
And before Rene’s body was even cold, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem attacked her as a “domestic terrorist.”

Why did Jonathan Ross kill Renee Nicole Good? For trying to exit a dangerous situation when someone who was clearly out for blood came after her. Trump and Vance immediately rushed to declare this murdering pig innocent and to slander his victim—and the Department of Justice rushed to say that there would be no state or local investigation allowed. In response, people have taken to the streets all over the country. This has been beautiful and righteous.
Now this must take a leap into fiercer, more massive struggle aimed at driving out this fascist regime. And here’s what people need to know to make that happen.

“…if you ever encountered my wife, Renee Nicole Macklin Good, you know that above all else, she was kind. In fact, kindness radiated out of her.
“Renee sparkled. She literally sparkled. I mean, she didn’t wear glitter but I swear she had sparkles coming out of her pores. All the time. You might think it was just my love talking but her family said the same thing. Renee was made of sunshine.
“Renee lived by an overarching belief: there is kindness in the world and we need to do everything we can to find it where it resides and nurture it where it needs to grow.” Go here to read the statement in full.
ONE: the murder of Renee Nicole Good by ICE crossed a line beyond which there is no turning back. Please note that ICE and government officials and MAGA slimeballs from top to bottom have been crowing about this, celebrating her murder and “promising” more. Whatever you thought “normal” was (under fascism!) died on a snowy Minnesota street with Renee Nicole Good. The message was clear: speaking out could mean risking your life. People must be brought to see and to really “take on board” the implications of this basic fact. We cannot pin our hopes on or wait for elections that may well never happen. We must act now, together and determined, uniting all who can be united, in sustained, nonviolent protest demanding: Trump Must Go NOW!.
TWO: MAGA has made clear that it is showdown time with any part of the government that aims to enforce the rule of law. See X post (to the right) to see a threat from MAGA against the sheriff of Philadelphia who said that murders such as this would not be allowed in her city. See Instagram post (to the right) to see Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey pondering the possibility of “warfare in the streets” if the state of Minnesota dared to charge the pig who murdered Renee Nicole Good.
To be clear: This ICE-pig must be charged in a court of law for the homicide he committed—no impunity. But the fact that someone like Frey is even talking about not doing that out of fear of upheaval indicates that we are in a rare time in which the rulers are sharply divided—the kind of time in which, as the revolutionary leader Bob Avakian says, revolution becomes more possible.
THREE: “Fuckin’ bitch.” Those were the words of Pig Ross (see video to the right below) that he recorded on his own video after he shot Renee Nicole Good three times. No surprise, though. The hatred (and fear) of women runs through MAGA, beginning with “grab ’em by the pussy” Trump. There can be no living with, no tolerance for this murderous, officially approved misogyny. And we are at a crossroads. Bob Avakian has said:
The whole question of the position and role of women in society is more and more acutely posing itself in today’s extreme circumstances—this is a powderkeg in the U.S. today...The question yet to be determined is: will it be a radical reactionary or a radical revolutionary resolution, will it mean the reinforcing of the chains of enslavement or the shattering of the most decisive links in those chains and the opening up of the possibility of realizing the complete elimination of all forms of such enslavement.
And we revcoms echo Bob Avakian in saying “Unleash the fury of women as a mighty force for revolution.”
FOUR: Get in the streets and spread mass nonviolent resistance into every corner of society. Unite all who can be united—and be willing to be “impolite.” These next days and weeks must see more people coming out and standing up, in much greater numbers. Schools must become sites of discussion and mobilization. On January 20, the first anniversary of Trump’s inauguration, the streets must be flooded with people around the demand THE TRUMP FASCIST REGIME MUST GO NOW!!
FIVE: These fascists like to say FAFO—Fuck Around and Find Out—and they have heartlessly used this taunt over the past few days. We won’t sink to their level. We say instead FOSF: FIND OUT AND STEP FORWARD. Find out about why we face this fascism … find out about the importance and possibility of actually working to unite millions to drive out this regime … find out about the strategy for revolution to overthrow the system that’s given rise to this fascism … find out about the world we could be living in … and with the stakes so high, find out for yourself what Bob Avakian actually says and stands for.
And then… STEP FORWARD.
